Proposed law requires the rules to establish at a minimum cybersecurity standards for technical management practices that assure cybersecurity compliance with national cybersecurity standards and set forth eligibility requirements for receiving state assistance in response to a cybersecurity incident.
Proposed law prohibits construction of proposed law that would prevent GOHSEP from entering into a contract to provide services to a local governmental subdivision or political subdivision that is not in compliance with the cybersecurity standards promulgated pursuant to proposed law.
